Afghan midwife describes the heavy price women and children pay

The Buddhas of Bamyan were not the only things destroyed in the quarter century of civil conflict in Afghanistan. The health infrastructure was also destroyed.

Global Health TV reports from the field how the Aga Khan Development Network and its partners are working with the Afghan government on health facilities from primary to tertiary with midwifery courses, medical curriculums, new clinics and hospitals.
