Stress in the Womb

Interview with Professor Vivette Glover, Imperial College London

Stress in the womb can last a lifetime according to a new exhibit at the Royal Society Summer Exhibition. The researchers behind the exhibit, from Imperial College London, say that reducing stress during pregnancy could help prevent thousands of children from developing emotional and behavioural problems later on. Our reporter Tracey O'Halloran met up with Proffessor Vivette Glover from Imperial College London to find out what this research means for the global, maternal health agenda.
