New global research into prematurity and stillbirth

Investigation in to health problems that remain mysteries

Global Alliance to Prevent Prematurity and Stillbirth (GAPPS) is leading an international team of investigators researching prematurity and stillbirth - funded by the WHO. More than one million preterm babies die within a month after birth, and there are more than three million stillbirths worldwide each year. Ahead of its international conference in May, Craig Rubens, Executive Director, speaks to Global Health TV about the road map GAPPS hopes to create to address these health crises.
