Foundation gives million dollar prize
The 2009 Gates Award for Global Health has been won by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine - the first academic institution and first UK winner. The prestigious award, which comes with a 1 million dollar purse, is awarded annually to an organization that has improved the health of people in the developing world.In this exclusive report Global Health TV finds out what makes the London School different - and how they plan to spend the prize money.
