Fighting childhood cancer in Africa a bigger challenge

Interview with Dr. Twalib Ngoma, AORTIC

Dr. Twalib Ngoma from the African Organization for Research & Training in Cancer tells Global Health TV why treating childhood cancers in Africa presents particular challenges. Dr. Ngoma says many African countries don't set aside funding for treatment, training or infrastructure. The My Child Matters Program, which aims to bring partners together to tackle childhood cancer, is making a real difference he says.
