Murray selling shirts in malaria campaign
Andy Murray has joined the fight against malaria.
The tennis star is backing Malaria No More by selling sporting memorabilia to raise money for the cause, reported Deadline Press.
A selection of Murray's old tennis shirts will be sold through the 22-year-old's website.
The items will be available on a first come, first served basis from December 21st.
Commenting on Malaria No More, he said: "This is the first global charity that I have been involved with in this capacity and it was an easy decision.
"Malaria is completely preventable and stoppable but yet it still kills more children in Africa than any other single disease."
He also said that there is a huge opportunity for people in the UK to aid the fight against malaria.
Last week, the Australian Medical Association called for action to be taken by world leaders at the Copenhagen climate change talks in order to prevent the spread of malaria.
