Help for drought-hit Ethiopia
A new programme has been launched to combat the health problems caused by drought in Ethiopia.
Oxfam America is trying to combat malnutrition in the country, with a plan to help around 350,000 people.
Hunger is a major concern in Ethiopia, with 6.2 million people struggling to get enough food.
A relief plan to provide new community projects has been introduced by Oxfam America.
This will see families given money to purchase food in exchange for working, as well as dealing with issues such as irrigation and underfed children.
Abera Tola, Oxfam America's regional director for the Horn of Africa, said: "The ponds are dry. The land is barren. There is nothing green. People are desperate.
"If we are able to respond in a timely way, we can reach these people, save lives, save livelihoods, and help people to be resilient to future shocks."
The Productive Safety Net Programme has also been introduced by the Ethiopian government in response to the problems.
